Meet Bernadette Boyle Waldmier

Bernadette has been in the aesthetics business for over 17 years. Growing up in Iowa, she has always had an interest in skin care resulting from her own struggles with acne.  After high school, Bernadette attended Arizona State University, studying art history.  After working in the hospitality industry for several years, she decided to pursue aesthetics and enrolled at the Aveda Institute of Chicago.  It was at the Aveda Institute that Bernadette’s special interest in lifestyle as it relates to skin care first started.  After school, she stayed in Chicago, working in a vibrant plastic surgery practice for over 8 years.  It was in this environment that Bernadette built her skills and knowledge while educating and treating her patients with the latest medical interventions and skin care treatments.

In 2014, Bernadette returned to Arizona where she worked in a growing dermatology practice.  During this time, she was exposed to a wider range of skin challenges and conditions, which enhanced her love of aesthetics.  Working collaboratively with her colleagues, Bernadette supported her patients in solving their skincare issues, or simply improve their skin.

Currently, Bernadette is attending Cornell University in pursuit of a Nutrition certificate.  With this enhanced knowledge, she will be better able to educate her patients on lifestyle and wellness.

In her free time, Bernadette enjoys cooking healthy, delicious food, and spending time outdoors in beautiful Arizona.  She and her husband, Adam enjoy boating, kayaking, riding bikes and running around with their two active dogs, Norman and Winifred, all while using lots of sun protection!!!

I hope to support people in achieving healthy outcomes through a combination of education on wellness and lifestyle along with personalized skin care.  Every persons’ needs are different and  I pride myself on my ability to listen to my patient’s concerns.  It is through this personalized approach that I can guide my patients to what is right for them. The reward comes when people see healthy changes in their skin; even small changes can have a big impact.
